Jackie Tohn, a native New Yorker and Los Angeles transplant, has been acting professionally since she was 12 in such TV series as “Memphis Beat,” “The Closer,” “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” “The Sopranos,” “Veronica Mars” and “The Nanny”.
As a singer-songwriter-musician, she was an American Idol finalist in Season 8 where she was dubbed “Miss Personality” by Idol host, Ryan Seacrest. Jackie literally brought down the house during her New York audition when a wall toppled over behind the judges. Best Week Ever said, "Some Idol Contestants are Super-Heroes. This one sang the walls off!"
Jackie’s hit “What’s Love” from her newly released album “2.Yo” can be heard in Disney’s film “You Again”. She received critical acclaim for her first album "Beguiling" now available on iTunes. Catch her single “The Falling” which comes pre-installed on the new Nexus One Google phone.
On the big screen, her credits include such wacky films as “Postal”, “Return to Sleepaway Camp”, “Dawg” and “Deuces Wild.” She created all eight of her characters in the off-Broadway comedy hit "Jewtopia", as well as Tina in “Tony-n-Tina’s Wedding”. For an updated IMDB bio CLICK HERE
